Youth Storytelling Slam

The Colorado New Play Festival, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Colorado, launched the inaugural Youth Storytelling Slam in 2022 to empower aspiring young writers in the community.

Over several months, students are mentored to craft original stories and plays, are brought to life on stage by professional actors as a culminating event.
